Google Classroom Academy

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Get ready to establish your own Google Classroom during this hands-on academy. Explore the various features and recent updates that allow you to transform document management with your students, as well as learning tips on best practices, customization, and organization. Come learn about designing assignments that pave the pathways for authentic assessments, allowing students to demonstrate their knowledge in ways that let their individual talents shine. Google Classroom fosters 21st century skills of communication, collaboration, critical thinking, and creation. You and your students can fully immerse yourselves and engage in all that Google Apps for Education offers, including research, hyperlinking, and visuals. Because there is emphasis in appropriate use of these online tools, Google Classroom provides an opportunity to examine digital citizenship through walled-garden discussion boards in which you and students can link and attach learning materials from various locations such as YouTube and Google Drive. Participants need to bring in their own device.
