Are you interested in building or redesigning a Makerspace at your school or in your district? Come see video clips, photos, and examples from a Makerspace at Los Alamitos Elementary School in Los Alamitos, California. The panel will share their experiences and thought processes in planning, building, testing, and redesigning their Makerspace. They will also share the M.A.K.E.R. rubric that parallels the SAMR model to monitor, assess, and increase effectiveness for every student engineer. Questions and open discussion are encouraged.
